Bulletin extra

BULLETIN EXTRA – SEPTEMBER 2019

Welcome to this first issue of our new monthly Bulletin Extra, designed as a companion to our weekly Bulletin, giving full details of events and services.   The weekly Bulletin was becoming rather overcrowded with long articles and the print was getting smaller to accommodate them all, making it difficult for some of our members to read.

Got something to raise?   Please ensure that it goes to the correct sub-committee of the PCC (via the Chair), to ensure that it gets looked at in a timely manner.   Most matters are dealt with by the sub-committees and will be reported back to the PCC.

Fabric & Buildings Committee – The Churchwardens,

The PCC is beginning to explore the possibility of All Saints becoming a Forward in Faith Parish (a Parish that feels unable to accept the Ordination of Women as Priests and Bishops).   To this end a meeting has been arranged with the Bishop of Richborough, Rt Revd Norman Banks, on Thursday 19th September at 7.30 p.m. in the Church Community Centre.   At the meeting Bishop Norman will explain what Forward in Faith is and answer questions.   The meeting will not have any decision-making powers, it is purely to understand more about Forward in Faith.

Items for inclusion in the October edition should be sent to Martin Hill by Sunday 22nd September.
